In our modern workshop, experienced specialists carry out daily overhauls, modifications, and assemblies of safety valves, control valves, shut-off valves, and related components. Overhauls can also be carried out in an O2 cleanroom. On-site, we are available 24/7 for urgent repairs and service.

JD Techniek is brand-independent, but also acts as an authorised repair center for several brands, including Conovalve, Somas, Leser, Niezgodka, Mankenberg, and Eriks.

Process of Valve Overhaul:

CNC production, grinding and ultrasonic cleaning for optimal precision

1. Receipt & Registration

Upon arrival, the valve is recorded and assigned a unique identification number.

2. Preparation & Disassembly

After verifying customer details, references and (if applicable) a cleaning certificate, we perform a pre-test and disassemble the valve.

3. Inspection & Quotation

After cleaning and (if necessary) blasting, we prepare an inspection report with photos. A quotation outlines which parts need to be repaired or replaced.

4. Overhaul, Assembly & Finishing

Upon approval, the overhaul is carried out. The valve is assembled with repaired or new parts, tested, and finished in the correct RAL colour in our paint booth. If desired, a test certificate is issued and included.

Machining Department

For machining work on valves – such as turning, milling, surface and cylindrical grinding – JD Techniek has a conventional machine park. We restore bonnet and sealing surfaces, machine spindles or manufacture entirely new parts. On request, we also carry out modifications to extend service life and solve recurring issues. For safety valves, we only replace parts with original manufacturer components.

Safety Valve Certification

We are certified by Lloyd’s under T0103 and PRD3.2 for the overhaul, testing and inspection of safety valves, including pilot-operated safety valves, spring-loaded safety valves and pressure/vacuum relief valves. The overhaul is performed according to manufacturer specifications and a fixed Lloyd’s-approved procedure. Thanks to our pre-defined pricing, you always know what to expect. Any deviations are discussed during the process and only executed after your approval – no surprises afterwards.

JD Techniek also supplies new safety valves from all major brands. In addition to the manufacturer’s certificate, you will receive a JD Techniek certificate to guarantee that the valve has been thoroughly tested. Our tests comply with international standards and are confirmed with a Lloyd’s test certificate. The original certificate is returned with the valve, a digital copy is emailed to you, and a paper version is archived.

Control Valves

In our workshop and on-site, we calibrate and configure control valves. Our instrumentation specialists are familiar with all brands – both analog and digital positioners – and can also adjust Kvs or Cv values or modify the positioner if required.
